Besides like i said my main concern is that you are a high-profile alliance leader and wether you want or not, you get exposed to NDA data that might in more cases than not give you an unfair advantages over your adversaries. I.E you might know in advance about a nerf or buff that the NDA forbids you from discussing, but can't keep you from planning in advance with much more time than other alliances.
As an example, right know you might know for a fact that Tech is getting nerf and in what way its getting nerfed, therefore you have much more time to adapt your own alliance than your tech-holding adversaries will have, when that information gets public. This argument might have a slim chance of validity were it not that the Mittani has been saying, in public, on the forums, things like, "We know that tech is going to get nerfed eventually..." Since before he was on CSM, I think. Making money off oxytopes by slaughtering the Gallente-space ice miners and profiting from the market shenanigans that follow is hardly something that Goonswarm couldn't have done without his CSM role. And as for scamming someone over the price of an Aeon - I'm sorry, but when you enter into a third party transaction where the third party is in the same alliance as the second party, you're an idiot. If you thought that being on the CSM meant that suddenly the Mittani couldn't participate in standard EVE gameplay, you're an extra special kind of idiot and people should put statues of you in the Idiot Horl of Faem. Wow a good post by a non-GSF guy. Call me surprised that I see this in this thread. |

SMT008 wrote:I'll just post this here for every miners to read : OR YOU COULD MINE IN MINMATAR/AMARR SPACEIt's a location based interdiction guys. If you think that tanking your ship/Remoterepping/Watching local/paying attention to your overview is too hard for you, fear not, you can also MINE SOMEWHERE ELSE, somewhere that is free of evil goonswarm members. And all that, with no hassle and (almost) NO RISK. If you just keep mining stubbornly in a Gallente region, without tanking your ship, without remote rep ships, without watching local and without checking your overview for strange ships, you just deserve to die, simple as that. Now I'm gonna quote myself again, just to make sure every poor miner have a chance to read it : Quote: OR YOU COULD MINE IN MINMATAR/AMARR SPACE
Here you go.
Hint: even tanking your ship/RRing/watching local/paying attention won't save you. Also, you just re-set the lower bound for Goon intelligence. |

That might mean we may need to change the structure" Post link or it didn't happen It on the front page of the Eve website dear, plain as day. Anyway to save you a few clicks: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-10-21-eurogamer-interviews-ccps-hilmar-petursson-interview Now finish the entire quote not just what suits you: ...but definitely the CSM has worked as a feedback tool greatly throughout the years. We will have them over at the end of the year, after everything that's gone on, and we will have a chance to talk about that. My goodness so sorry, yes he said the CSM has worked well thru the years (his concern is with this year) and it's time for a talk. Do you need a hug lol?
